Megillah Reading Schedule

Purim 2019 - 5779

Megillah

Experience Purim by participating in a traditional Megilah reading*. At Chabad, our goal is to ensure that everyone in Greater New Orleans has the opportunity to participate and fulfill this Mitzvah. On Purim, Wednesday night, March 20, and Thursday, March 21, we have dedicated volunteers ready to visit nursing homes, hospitals and those who are home-bound and can’t make it out.

If you are unable to make any of the readings or know of someone who is unable to make it, please contact Rabbi Mendel Ceitlin: 504-534-8685 or mendelc@jewishlouisiana.com.

*It is a Mitzvah to hear the Megillah read twice over Purim- once on March 20 after nightfall, and once on March 21 during the day.
