The heart of Chabad beats in our kitchen, where thousands of meals are prepared for weekly Shabbos luncheons, monthly dinners, and the many classes and programs throughout the year. However, our current cooking, work, and storage spaces are inadequate and in dire need of upgrading.
As suggested by many of you, especially during our community meeting, we've explored solutions to optimize our space. We're now ready to implement our plan, aiming to complete the project by Rosh Hashana!
Our upgrades include:
- New double convection oven
- Split AC unit installation
- Removing the wall between the meat and dairy kitchens
- Building new shelving
- Creating a dairy kitchen in the Home @ Chabad
